Why Choose Us for Your UTI care?

Our virtual urgent care team is ready to help you manage a variety of urinary tract infection symptoms. Whether your symptoms are mild or more intense, we provide expert care to help you find relief. Some of the symptoms we treat include:

  • Burning Sensation (Dysuria): If you experience burning or pain when urinating, we’ll assess your symptoms and recommend the right treatment to alleviate discomfort.
  • Frequent Urge & Small-Volume Urination (Frequency & Urgency): When you feel the need to urinate often—sometimes only producing a few drops—we can identify the cause and prescribe the appropriate antibiotics.
  • Lower Abdominal or Pelvic Discomfort: If you’re feeling pressure, cramping, or aching in your lower abdomen or pelvis, our clinicians will evaluate and guide the best management strategy.
  • Cloudy, Dark, or Strong-Odor Urine: Notice changes in your urine’s appearance or smell? We’ll determine if it’s infection-related and suggest treatments to clear it up.
  • Blood in Urine (Hematuria): Seeing blood can be alarming; we’ll help investigate the cause and provide the right care to address it.
  • Fever, Chills & Malaise: If your UTI progresses to include systemic signs like fever, chills, or general fatigue, we’ll advise on next steps and ensure timely intervention.

When to Seek In-Person Urgent Care

While our Virtual Urgent Care can effectively manage most uncomplicated UTIs, certain warning signs mean you should seek in-person evaluation right away:

  • High Fever (≥102°F) or Chills: A persistent or very high fever can signal that the infection has moved up to your kidneys (pyelonephritis).
  • Flank or Back Pain: Intense pain in your side or back, especially if it’s only on one side, may indicate kidney involvement.
  • Nausea, Vomiting, or Inability to Hydrate: If you can’t keep fluids down or become dehydrated, you may need IV fluids and antibiotics.
  • Blood Clots in Urine: Large clots or significant bleeding can require imaging and direct intervention.
  • Signs of Sepsis: Rapid heartbeat, low blood pressure, dizziness, confusion, or extreme fatigue are medical emergencies.
  • Pregnancy: Any UTI symptoms during pregnancy warrant in-person care due to higher risk of complications.
  • Recurrent or Complicated UTIs: If you’ve had ≥2 UTIs in 6 months or ≥3 in 12 months, or you have underlying conditions (e.g., diabetes, kidney stones), you need a thorough work-up.
  • Urinary Retention or Blockage: Inability to urinate or severe difficulty voiding requires immediate evaluation.

If you experience any of these symptoms, don’t hesitate to seek in-person urgent care or visit your nearest emergency room. Your health and safety come first.

Frequently Asked Questions about Respiratory Care

How quickly can I see a healthcare provider?

Our virtual urgent care operates like a walk-in clinic—no appointments necessary. Simply log in and start your consultation, and a provider will be with you as soon as possible, usually within minutes.

Can I get a prescription if I need one?

Yes. If your provider determines that a prescription is necessary, we’ll send it electronically to your preferred pharmacy, and your medication may be covered by your insurance.

Is my consultation private and secure?

Absolutely. We use HIPAA-compliant technology to ensure your personal health information is protected throughout your consultation.

What types of UTI symptoms do you treat?

We treat a variety of UTI symptoms, including burning or pain during urination, frequent urges with small amounts passed, lower abdominal or pelvic discomfort, cloudy or strong-smelling urine, and light blood in the urine. For more severe warning signs—such as a high fever (≥102°F), intense flank or back pain, nausea/vomiting or inability to stay hydrated, significant blood clots, or any signs of systemic infection (rapid heart rate, dizziness, confusion)—we recommend seeking immediate in-person evaluation.

Do you accept insurance for virtual visits?

We do not accept insurance for virtual urgent care visits.

What happens if I need follow-up care?

If your symptoms persist or you need additional care, you can schedule a follow-up visit at the same flat fee. We are here to support you through every step of your recovery.

Do I need any special technology to access virtual urgent care?

All you need is a smartphone, tablet, or computer with a camera, as well as a stable internet connection. You can access your consultation from anywhere.

What should I do if I have an emergency?

If you experience severe symptoms such as chest pain, difficulty breathing, or loss of consciousness, seek in-person care or visit the nearest emergency room immediately.
